From Dora's childhood, she fondly remembers a warm winter coat with a woven fabric that was a mix between Herringbone and hound's Tooth. Flashback is her attempt to recreate that woven pattern in a supersized way. The pretty fabrics used for the ragged versions of her Flashback pattern are the soft and luxurious Woolies flannel, in Neutrals and Colours, by Bonnie Sullivan for Maywood Studio. But other flannels can work beautifully, too.
